By "ghosting" I mean that you see a player standing still on your screen but they are actually not there so you just see where they were "x" amount of seconds or minutes ago. It is pretty annoying for me...
So just post whether or not you still have this issue when playing. Doubt I am alone...

Yeah it happens sometimes. Rather annoying and funny at the same time. It isn't rare to hear 'ENEMY SPOTT... nvm it was a lag image' on our vent :P
Today is the first time I saw ghosting in about two weeks. Quite a bit of it today, actually.

I see it all the time. More often in Nordenwatch I would say, but it happens all over.Oh hell yes, please. In WoW I'd always reset my modem immediately for a new IP whenever the meter was red. Pretty convenient indeed.

If your complaining about ping and play on a US server....DIAF, its your own fault
mythic has servers in Ocenica, you get the same lag most US players get.
Ghosting is a term used predominantly in round based fps games where dead players give away the positions of their killers.
Ghosting has been used since DAoC as term for character 'ghosts' showing up in the distance. It's not lag, it's code. It's been around since DAoC and found its way here.
Actually its been around since the original Quake.

I see it from time to time in scenarios. I think I've seen it once or twice in the Averlorn RvR pool.
Yea, I get it a lot. Mostly in RvR areas.
But yes, a ping meter on the HUD would be nice.
I have been seeing much more since the last patch. Was running around a keep, headed towards two friendlies, they vanished and I died almost right away from a sorc. Very frustrating....
Not so much for me anymore. I see it once or twice in RVR lakes or in scenario's when I am very far away from everyone else ..
Yes when I see a ghost image I run away from it knowing that the real character would never be alone.
