Entrypack and Rulespacks for this years Golden Troll can be found HERE to download.
Dates are confirmed for Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th of November, at our usual venue, St. Mary's Parish Centre, Chorley, Lancs.
Catagories for the Saturday are: WFB, 40k and H/WM.
Sunday is: WAB, FoW and BB.
H/WM rules will be along the lines of Steamroller, with 500pts armies and 2 lists allowed (from the same faction).
WAB uses the same ABC comp as this years GT, with one or two tweaks as suggested by the players there.
40k will use VP's and a 32-0 system for scoring, I personally don't think Kill Points give a fair result and I'm trying things out for TS next year so that Best General can be decided fairly across all systems. I'm keen for feedback on this.
Any questions, please ask.

Legionaire, If you allow Belial and Samael because they are important to DA list building, you may as well just let them use named characters. Characters like Corbulo do not affect the force org chart like Belial or Sammael, but are still important in BA lists for the abilities they grant. So why is one strategy enabled by a named character valid, whilst another is not?
And Ezekial is just the DA's 3 wound Librarian after all, Lemartes is simply the BA's 3-wound Chaplain. Without them, you're letting their opponent's takes Chief Librarians/Chaplains whilst they can't.
And I doubt your resolve on this to be honest. The new marine codex will come out soon which uses several of it's 11 named characters to enable different army types. So, during next year's round of tournies, because not every single codex has been redone yet, are you going to tell White Scars/Salamanders/Crimson Fists etc they can't use their armies the way GW intended them to? I think you'll probably have just given up by then, so you may as well surrender now.
I was looking at the rules pack for Toy Soldier and didn't notice any prohibition of special/named characters, but I guess I must be mistaken. Anyway, given that you seem to have made your mind up on the subject I'll drop it.
